How do I add a call to action button to my video on the desktop platform?
A call to action (CTA) is a button people can click while watching your video. It links to the next step you want them to take, such as:
- Schedule a tour, linking to your scheduling page
- Learn more, linking to a page with more details
- RSVP Here!, linking to an event sign-up
- Click here, linking to any page you want to share
Add a CTA
- After recording, click Next: Share Video.
- On the Share Video screen, click the drop-down arrow next to Call to Action (CTA) Button.
- Choose a saved CTA, delete one with the trash icon, or click + Add New.
- For a new CTA, enter the text you want on the button.
- Enter the link the button should open.
- Optionally, check Save this button to use with other videos.
Your CTA appears in video emails and on the video player page.
Tips
- You can save up to five CTAs. To save a new one when you’re at five, delete an old one first.
- If you’ll only use a CTA once, leave the save box unchecked so it doesn’t take up one of your five slots.
- Check that your link works before sharing, since the button appears in both emails and the video player page.
