How do I create a script for my video in the desktop platform?
- Log in to OneDay. Start on your dashboard, the main page with your month-to-date stats.
- Click "Create Video." It's the green button in the top-right corner, next to your community name.
- Choose "Creator Studio" from the dropdown.
- Click the AVA icon. It's the round dark button with a sparkle in the bottom-right corner of the Creator Studio screen. Hover over it and the label "AVA Scriptwriter" appears.
- Choose how to start your script:
- Quick-pick script: click one of the templates: "Introduce Myself to New Contacts," "How Can We Help?," "Welcome Someone Coming to Visit," or "Thank Someone for Visiting Us."
- Your own prompt: type a short description in the "Describe your video" box (for example, "intro to prospect"), then press Enter or click the green send arrow.
- Wait a few seconds while AVA writes the script.
- Review the script. Scroll through it in the panel.
- Edit it if you need to. Click the pencil icon below the script, then change the text however you like. When you're done, choose one of these:
- Save edits keeps your changes.
- Save & Use keeps your changes and uses the script.
- Cancel throws your changes away.
- Use the other script tools below the script:
- Copy (two-squares icon) copies the script to your clipboard.
- Regenerate (circular-arrows icon) writes a new version. Use the arrows next to the version counter (for example, 3/3) to flip between versions.
- Personalize it (optional). Click "Personalize for a contact" under the prompt box to tailor the script to a specific person.
- Use the icons at the top of the panel:
- History (clock) opens your past scripts, grouped by Today, This Month and Earlier. You can search them or click one to reopen it.
- New chat (pencil) starts a fresh script.
- Close (X) closes the panel.
- Send the script to the teleprompter. Click "Use in Teleprompter." The panel closes and your script scrolls across the top of the camera preview.
- Record your video. Click the red record button and read the script from the teleprompter.
