How do I record my screen as part of my video?

Start a recording

1. Go to your OneDay dashboard and click the green Create Video button in the top right.
2. Choose how you want to record:
   • Quick Video for a single-click screen recording.
   • Creator Studio to combine several clips and get more editing options.
3. In the Quick Video window, pick a mode under Record Mode. There are two screen options:
   • Camera + Screen records your screen and shows your face in a small circle in the lower-left corner.
   • Screen Only records just your screen.

Record your screen (Screen Only)

1. Click Screen Only. Your browser will ask what to share. Choose a tab, a window or your entire screen, then click Share.
2. Go back to your OneDay account tab and click the red record button to start.
3. Switch to the tab or screen you’re sharing. Scroll and click through whatever you want to show, such as your website, a document or an application.
4. When you’re finished, go back to the OneDay tab and click the red stop button.
5. Watch the playback. Click Re-Record Clip to try again, or Next: Share Video to keep it.

Record your screen and camera (Camera + Screen)

1. Click Create Video, then Quick Video, then Camera + Screen.
2. Choose the tab, window or screen to share, then click Share.
3. Go back to your OneDay account tab. Check that your face shows in the lower-left corner, then click the red record button.
4. Walk through the shared tab or screen the same way as in the previous steps then stop recording and review.
