How do I use the teleprompter feature on my phone?

Recording with the AVA teleprompter

Before you record

1. Open the recording screen. Your script appears as a teleprompter on the left side of the screen, close to the front-facing camera (if your phone is horizontal) so you can read it and still look at the camera. When your phone is vertical (portrait mode) the script will appear at the top of the screen closest to the camera.
2. To move through the script, use the up and down arrow buttons or swipe with your finger.
3. Tap the teleprompter icon, which looks like a scroll, to hide the script. Tap it again to bring it back.
4. Check the lighting and sound meters at the top of the screen, the sun and microphone icons, and adjust your setup if you need to.
5. To switch between the front and back cameras, tap the flip camera icon (the circular arrows).

Record

1. When you’re ready, tap the red record button.
2. Speak with warmth and confidence, and read from the teleprompter as you go.
