What is the Digital Library in the mobile app?

The Digital Library is a central place in the OneDay mobile app where you save individual video clips so you can reuse them. Instead of recording the same video again and again, you record a clip once and use it whenever you need it.

Why use the Digital Library?

Reuse evergreen content. Save clips you use often, such as a community introduction, an amenity walkthrough or a “meet the team” clip, and add them to new videos without re-recording.
Save time. Build a video from clips you’ve already recorded.
Share with your team. Copy your best clips to the Shared Library so everyone in your organization can use them.
Keep branding and messaging consistent. If you’re in corporate leadership or share videos across communities, the Shared Library helps every team use the same branding and approved messaging.

Where to find it

Tap Library in the bottom menu of the app.

The Digital Library has two tabs at the top of the screen:

Tab	What’s in it
My Library	Clips you’ve saved for yourself
Shared Library	Clips that anyone in your organization with a OneDay account has shared

To share one of your clips with your team, tap the three dots next to it and choose Save a Copy to Shared Library. You’ll see “Clip copied successfully.” To use a teammate’s clip as your own, choose Save a Copy to My Library from its menu in the Shared Library.

How clips get into your library

After you send a video. You’ll see “Your video is on its way! Save these new clips to your clip library?” Tap each Clip Name box to rename your clips, then tap Save Clips. Clear names like “Dining room” make clips easier to find later. Tap Dismiss if you don’t want to save them.
By adding them directly. Tap + Add Clip in My Library to record a new clip or upload one from your phone.

What you can do with a clip

Tap the three dots next to any clip to:

Watch Clip
Start Video from Clip
Save a Copy to Shared Library (or Save a Copy to My Library from the Shared Library tab)
Save to Device
Delete Clip

When you’re building a video, you can also pull in clips from your library by tapping Add Another Clip on the Edit Video screen.
